October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Did you know 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men in the U.S. have been the victim of domestic violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime.

At Catholic Charities, we know all too well the importance of seeking safety when you are escaping abuse. We’ve been providing a safe haven for over 40 years to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking by an intimate partner, and human trafficking. In fact, we have the only emergency domestic violence shelter in all of Douglas County.

You can support our Domestic Violence Services by making a donation today. You can also show your support by donating via our Amazon Wish List.

Thank you for making a DIFFERENCE

Catholic Charities is on the front lines in this COVID-19 pandemic – providing food to the hungry, safety to the endangered, and support to those who are suffering. Every day, people in our community turn to Catholic Charities looking for hope. Thanks to your generosity and compassion, that's what we are delivering to thousands of our friends and neighbors in need. We have been responding to crises for nearly a century. This is our mission; it's what we're built for. Now more than ever, we need to answer the call. You can help us do that.
