Microbusiness Training Program

16 classes / 8 weeks / 2 evenings a week / 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Coursework includes: Creating Business and Marketing Plans - Financial Projections - Branding and Messaging - Target Markets - Taxes/Accounting - Insurance - Human Resources

Daytime and evening classes are offered at least 4 times a year in both Spanish and English.

The Cleaning Academy

8 classes / 8 weeks / 1 day per week / 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Coursework includes: Best practices and Industry standards - Health and safety regulations - Floor and carpet cleaning - Chemical labels, safety and exposure - Bathroom maintenance and more!

Classes are offered in both English and Spanish throughout the year.

Financial Education Classes
9 classes/9 weeks/1 day per week

Coursework includes: Budgeting - SMART goals - Debt Management - Credit Scores - Cash Flow - Banking and Savings - Predatory Lending - Insurance

Classes are offered in the afternoons or evenings. Please call for current class hours.

Basic Computer Classes
6 classes/6 weeks/1 day per week

Coursework includes: Functions of a Computer - Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)- Web Browsing/Internet - Outlook - Social Media

Classes offered in the mornings and evenings.

QuickBooks
6 classes/6 weeks/1 day per week

Coursework includes: Accounting applications - Payroll functions - Payment functions - Invoices and Reports - Tax filing

BUSINESS FINANCING

Micro loans of up to $5,000 are available for clients who have successfully completed the training program, submitted a feasible business plan, and completed a loan application. For higher loan amounts, our team is able to provide referrals for third party financing.

Technical Assistance

The Microbusiness computer lab offers access, training, and support services. Clients can utilize the lab to advance their basic computer skills, perform accounting and operations support activities, develop plans, and refine business processes.

CONTINUOUS LEARNING AND NETWORKING

We offer a variety of continuous learning opportunities, including quarterly workshops, networking activities, and alumni events.
