PROGRAMS & SERVICES

FAMILY STRENGTHENING SERVICES

Strengthening the bonds among families of all forms.

Family Strengthening Services provides a variety of programs addressing the unique experiences of individuals and families beginning at birth and throughout one's life span. Through God's guidance and strength, we strive to help people be the best they can be.

MENTORING MOMS

The Mentoring Moms program embraces the sanctity and dignity of life by nurturing pregnant and parenting women. We match mothers with volunteer mentors, who provide guidance and support. We also offer a network of community organizations to provide education, practical assistance and mentoring support with a focus of empowering and educating women to live their best lives.

To learn more about our Mentoring Moms program, please contact Joycelyn at 402-953-8846 or email joycelynh@ccomaha.org.

POST ADOPTION SERVICES

Through our Post Adoption Services, help is available to all members of the adoption circle; adopted persons, birth families and adoptive families. We provide ongoing support through what is often a complex and emotional journey.

If you are adopted of if you are the birth family, the search for birth relatives can be life changing. At Catholic Charities, our staff have the knowledge and expertise to advise you of Nebraska state statutes regarding search and reunion, and will act as sensitive intermediaries.

FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER

The Family Resource Center provides a culturally welcoming environment where families and individuals can gather to develop personal, educational, and family skills. Through our Family Strengthening Program, families learn about resources and positive ways to integrate into a new culture, overcome barriers and make informed decisions about their future.

The Family Resource Center is located at the Juan Diego Center.

SENIOR SERVICES

Catholic Charities’ Senior services address the physical, social, emotional, financial, and spiritual needs of older adults. Socialization, meals, classes, and outings are a few of the services offered to seniors in our community.

Our Senior Services is located at the St. Martin's Center.
