Food is a basic right. Through two food pantries, a Mobile Pantry Program, and Homebound Delivery Program, we offer life-sustaining food resources to those in need throughout 26 Nebraska counties.
We empower clients when they come by offering The Market – a choice pantry, to pick out nutritious, culturally appropriate food for themselves and their families. Along with food, the pantry is a gateway for clients to receive other Catholic Charities services and resources.

Who Can Receive Food?To access food support, you must be at least 18 years of age and register in person. If you’re visiting a Catholic Charities pantry location for the first time, you must complete registration information to receive a Community Member Card, which is required to access food during each pantry visit. Please note Catholic Charities pantries are closed on most major holidays and holy days of obligation. In case of inclement weather, please call ahead 402-235-4809. Call

Mobile Pantries
Mobile Pantries
Our Mobile Pantry Program distributes food to Nebraskans in rural communities and isolated Omaha metro areas where there are pockets of food insecurity, food deserts, poverty, and health concerns. We distribute food regularly through collaborators and also respond to natural disasters (and other crises) with food and other support.

Homebound Deliveries
Homebound Deliveries
Our Homebound delivery Program distributes food and household goods to the doorsteps of adults and families. The majority of those we serve are senior adults who face isolation or barriers getting to the grocery store. Deliveries are made once a month to recipients who have been referred to us from a partner agency.
Visit frequency, dietary requirements, and other special requests are accommodated upon request and by available inventory.

Catholic Charities is proud to partner with the Nebraska Diaper Bank, an organization devoted to providing diapers through collaborative partnerships.
What: Receive an allotment of 60-70 diapers once per month per child
Qualifications: Children must be below three years of age and diapers may only be picked up by the child’s parent/legal guardian (ID’s are required).Where: The Market at St. Teresa
When: During Regular Market Hours (ONLY)
Monday & Thursday 12PM – 3PM Tuesday 3PM – 6PMWhere: St. Juan Diego Center
When: Thursday 2:30PM – 3:30PMIf a child does not qualify to receive diapers, the parent/guardian may pick up small packages of diapers for the child during normal pantry hours (subject to availability).

Catholic Charities relies on food donations to keep our Pantry shelves stocked for families in need. We’ve created a Wish List of items we are always in need of. We gladly accept pantry donations of food, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, paper goods, diapers, and paper bags year-round.
