HELPING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES

The month of October is dedicated to Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

For more than 40 years, Catholic Charities has ran the only emergency shelter in all of Douglas County. In 2020 alone, we provided 4,800 nights of safety for abuse survivors in our shelter.

In support of all victims and survivors of domestic violence, Catholic Charities will host a Healing Prayer Service on PURPLE THURSDAY, October 21, 2021 at 7:00 pm at St. James Seton Catholic Church located at 4710 N 90th Street in Omaha. The public is invited to attend. Please join us as we shine a light on domestic violence and prayer for all those affected.

If you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship, contact Catholic Charities for help by calling our 24/7 Crisis Hotline at 402.558.5700. For more information about our Domestic Violence Services, visit CCOMAHA.org.
