Living Longer and the Connection of Faith and Mental Health
Featuring Dr. Roberto Cervantes

Via ZOOM - Tuesday, December 15th @ 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

People are living longer. For healthy aging, it is important to understand both the biological changes and the significance of faith life on longevity and mental health. This intersection presents a wonderful opportunity for parishes, schools, and organizations to embrace the wisdom, experience, and talents of older adults in the delivery of their ministries.

Gain a better understanding of:

•The biology of the aging process
•Common mental health changes and challenges
•The impact of faith on mental health & living longer
•Valuing the wisdom, experience, & vitality of older adults

Dr. Cervantes is a psychiatrist for CHI Health and a contributing author of The Wiley Handbook on the Aging Mind and Brain. After graduating from Arizona State University with a Electrical Engineering, he worked for 13 years as a Director of Internet Product Development.
