In-Kind Donation

Catholic Charities accepts the following in-kind donations:

  • Furniture – must be in good condition, not broken or stained
  • Appliances – must be in good working condition, no rust or mold
  • Electronics – must be in good working order with all cords, remotes, etc.
  • Household goods (home décor, sporting goods, kitchenware, etc.) – must be clean and free of cracks, breaks, stains, mold or rust
  • Clothing or Bedding –These items MUST be donated NEW

You can arrange for a pickup of items by contacting: Rita Clark 402-829-9205

Pickups are only Wednesdays or Thursdays between 10am-1pm

There are certain items that Catholic Charities can always use:

Domestic Violence Shelter

  • New sheets and towels
  • Non-perishable food items
  • Diapers
  • Feminine products

Food Pantries

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Frozen meats and seafood
  • Diapers
  • Toiletry items

Mentoring Moms

  • Crib or Pack and Play – must meet current safety standards
  • Car seat/booster seat – new only
  • Bottles/sippy cups – new only
  • Brand new onesies
  • Receiving blankets– new only
  • Youth coats/jackets – new only

Catholic Charities CANNOT accept:

  • Used clothing and used bedding – please feel free to donate items to the following:

Saint Vincent De Paul stores – 21st & Leavenworth or 60th & Maple

  • Non-working electronics
