Junior Board Pillars

The mission of the Service Committee is to extend the services of Catholic Charities through works of mercy, kindness and compassion to the needy.  This committee is responsible for planning and coordinating all service activities.

Social / Networking & Community Relations
The Social Committee is responsible for planning and organizing all social activities and fundraising events.  The Social Committee helps in providing valuable networking opportunities.
The Networking & Community Relations Committee is responsible for public relations, marketing, outreach, obtaining support, and network-building.  The Networking & Community Relations Committee increases visibility of the Junior Board and helps to build a strong, active member base.

Spiritual Enrichment 
The Spiritual Enrichment Committee acts as a resource for connections to spiritual programs and services.  This Committee is responsible for planning and organizing events targeted at faith/spiritual enrichment.



Catholic Charities Junior Board Mission

The Omaha Catholic Charities Junior Board is an organization of young adults committed to promoting the compassionate works and mission of Catholic Charities.  Through volunteer service, spiritual enrichment, social events and networking opportunities, the Junior Board empowers the next generation of leaders dedicated to Catholic Charities and serving those in need in our community.

Junior Board Responsibilities

  • Board members must be at least 21 years old
  • Members must make a 1-year commitment to the Junior Board
  • Junior Board meetings will take place once a month
  • $50 suggested donation/contribution over the course of the year
