‘Hoops for Hope’ Dec. 9 Event to Support Life-Saving Catholic Charities Services
Event Will Be Held Prior to Nebraska-Creighton Basketball Game at CenturyLink Center Omaha
The Catholic Charities Junior Board will host the 8th annual Hoops for Hope event, a free and open to the public social event to support the programs and services of Catholic Charities. Free appetizers, a cash bar and raffle will be included. Free will donations also will be accepted.
Bluejay and Husker fans as well as the general public are welcome.
4:30 p.m.,Wednesday, December 9. Raffle drawing, 6:15 p.m. Tip-off, 7 p.m.
Hoops for Hope will be in the upstairs banquet room of The Old Mattress Factory, 501 N 13th St.
Catholic Charities ministers to the greatest and most fundamental needs of our community. Events like Hoops for Hope provide much-needed funds for services that touch the lives of more than 100,000 voiceless, hungry, addicted, abused and forgotten individuals and families annually throughout Omaha and the surrounding 23-county northeast Nebraska area.
