Donating Your Vehicle Makes Sense
Avoid the hassle of selling or trading in your used vehicle. Donate your car to Cars for Catholic Charities Omaha and make a valuable contribution to children in need.
Your donation will support children in need served by Catholic Charities:
- Community Services: Support families in crisis by providing and assistance to help them get back on their feet.
- Domestic Violence Services: Provide a safe place for women and children from abuse.
- Childrens' Services: Provide counseling and education to couples exploring adoption.
- Addiction Recovery Services: Help individuals and families overcome addictions.
Donating Is Easy - Any Car is Accepted
- Call the Cars for Kids donation line, or click (Donate Your Vehicle Now-link) You'll be asked for the following information:
- Year, make and model of the vehicle
- Color of the vehicle
- Approximate mileage of the vehicle
- Condition of the vehicle: Is it driveable? Are there mechanical problems? In what shape are the interior and body? All vehicles are accepted, we just need to be aware of the condition.
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Once the information on your vehicle is received, a pick-up will be scheduled. Someone will contact you within two days to schedule a specific pick-up time.
- When the Cars for Kids representative arrives to pick up your vehicle, please have the title and keys available. Sign the title where it says "signature of seller(s)." You must sign your name exactly as it is printed on the title. It does not need to be notarized. The Cars for Kids representative will provide you with a temporary receipt. Once the clear title is received in our office, we will mail you an acknowledgement of your charitable contribution.
