Cars for Kids
Take Action

Avoid the hassle of selling or trading in your used vehicle. Donate your vehicle to Cars for Kids at Catholic Charities Omaha and make a valuable contribution to children in need.

Your donation will support children in need served by Catholic Charities:
Community Services: Support families in crisis by providing assistance to help them get back on their feet.
Domestic Violence Shelter: Provide women and children a place free of abuse.
Pregnancy Counseling and Adoption: Provide counseling and education to couples exploring adoption.
Addiction Recovery Services: Help teens and their families overcome addictions.
Children's Programs: Help provide programming and activities for children in our preschool, after-school programs and summer camp.

Donating is EASY - any vehicle is accepted, as well as working motorcycles, RV's, campers, personal water craft, and boats.
Call the Cars for Kids donation line (402) 829-9241. You'll be asked for the following information:
   - Year, make and model of the vehicle
   - Color of the vehicle
   - Approximate mileage of the vehicle
   - Condition of the vehicle: Is it drivable? Are there mechanical problems? In what shape are the interior and body? All vehicles are accepted, we just need to be aware of the condition.

If you decide to submit your donation online you may do so at this time. Once that information is received, our coordinator will contact you within two days.
When the Cars for Kids representative arrives to pick up your vehicle, please have the title and keys available.
Sign the title where it says "signature of seller(s)." You must sign your name exactly as it is printed on the title. It does not need to be notarized.
The Cars for Kids representative will provide you with a temporary receipt. Once the clear title is received in our office, we will mail you an acknowledgement of your charitable contribution.
