Voluntary Detox Program (Omaha Campus for Hope)

Detox, short for detoxification, provides a safe place for men and women to detoxify from drugs and/or alcohol. Our Detox program is open 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

Detox staff provides:
 - Individualized and medically monitored Detox from alcohol and/or drugs.
 - Chemical Dependency Assessments as appropriate
 - Information and education on alcohol and or drug use.
 - Referrals for medical, housing, legal, employment services, and treatment.

Clients receive support and guidance throughout their stay and every client is given a referral for ongoing care.

 

Protective Custody Services (Omaha Campus for Hope)

Civil Protective Custody is a non-voluntary level of care for men and or women who have been found to be intoxicated on public or qausi-public property. Law enforcement transports clients to protective custody where clients are provided with a safe and therapeutic environment for detoxing. Clients are provided discharge planning and encouraged to enter our Detox program to continue the process. The average length of stay is 11 hours.

Emergency Protective Custody is a non-voluntary level of care for men and or women who have been found to be intoxicated on public or qausi-public property and are in danger of harming themselves or someone else. Law enforcement transports clients to Emergency Protective Custody where clients are provided with a safe and therapeutic environment for detoxing. Clients are evaluated by a licensed clinical psychologist who determines whether on-going psychiatric services are necessary. Discharge planning is provided to all clients. The average length of stay in the level of care is 15 hours.
